Chesnok Red is a great all-purpose cold-hardy, purple-striped hardneck variety known for its fine flavor. It turns sweet when baked and is superb for cooking, offering a distinctive lingering mellow aftertaste.  Great in just about any dish. Stores 6 months when cured. 8-12 medium sized cloves per bulb.
